  • Panasonic DMC-G10 iso 100
  • Nikon D60

Bug fixes:

  • 0 star rating working again
  • LT: ctrl+d duplicates per default now
  • Some fixes concerning locale handling
  • double click on film strip jumps to image

  1. hi,

I've posted in another place the P330's noise profile. I've not received any feedback, so I do not know if I was wrong or what. I repost here the link

    http://pastebin.com/AwkiFc4W

    sorry anyway for the noise
  2. Great job as usual.
thanks a lot for everything !!
  3. After updating to 1.2.2 disappeared russian language.
  4. i can seem to be able to find the mac (OSX) 1.2.2 version --again!--
    please love to the apple!!
  5. Again great job - but why not adding support for the Fuji X Series? LibRaw already supports those cameras, just like the LightZone project does...

  7. 1.2.2 DMG is up now, link was added to this news post. Apologies to mac users for missing out on 1.2.1 release.
  8. russian currently has 14% untranslated messages, 28% untranslated or fuzzy. it fell through our quality assurance this time.
  9. blog comments are a good place to hide noise profiles from me :)

anyways, could you also upload the pdf graphs somewhere so i can check the profile makes any sense?
  10. :)
I'll do it as soon as I'm on that box. Thanks!
  11. Could someone compile this release for Debian repos?
    Thanks
  12. This software is realy great, it makes a lt of fun to use it as a replacenment for all the commercial crap :-)
Thanks all programmers, who make this possible!!!!
  13. P330's noise profile:

    link availabe for 2 weeks

    TIA
  14. +1 for a Debian build
  15. cool, thanks for the profile. looks good and is now in git master :)
  16. wow. now the last step i.e. lens correction. I'm in short of time now so I will let you know when I'm done.

    thanks a bunch!
  17. Has anyone created the noise profile for the Olympus E-PM1? I can't see it.
I don't know if it's because nobody created it or it just hasn't been included yet.
  18. in a git checkout, you can run tools/listcams.sh to see the list of profiled cameras. or work your way through https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/blob/master/src/common/noiseprofiles.h manually.
  19. on the mac version the 'login' button for facebook in the export section does not pop up a browser like it says it should. I therefore have no way to authenticate darktable with Facebook.
Is there a way i can do it manually somehow?

    Thanks

    [crash report cut away]
  21. website comments isn't the place for bug reports, please create new issue with description how to reproduce the crash (or at least what were you doing when dt crashed) here: http://darktable.org/redmine/projects/darktable/issues/new
  22. Thanks again for keeping up the good work on this amazing software :)
  23. +1. Maybe I'll give it a try, though I don't know about getting it into the repos.

Until then, though, I may compile and install it in its own prefix (and do likewise with GIMP 2.9). As an Olympus EM-5 shooter, I'm curious about Darktable's new Olympus base curve.
  24. The OSX image link doesn't seem to work, but the tarball link is OK.
  25. works for me. what error do you get?
  26. Are the developers considering Fujifilm?
  27. I finally bit the bullet, got a fancy camera with RAW image output, shot a handful of pics, compiled Darktable on my slackware box, and, sadly, discovered that the Fujifilm x100s is not supported. Blue note on a jazzy day.

I saw and read the link above to the 1.1.1 release comment by Jo. I can code, but I recognize that if I try to implement that long list it is going to suck. And take forever because I'm an old transportation engineer, not a young graphics hacker. (Oh to be young and able to get by on a few hours of sleep again)

I would certainly donate debugging time, and would contribute to a kickstarter if that would be helpful, but until darktable supports the x100s sensor, I'm dead in the water with RAW images (I try only to run linux).

Good product, hope I can convince you to hack on the fuji x100s sensor.
  28. Can I somehow change the default language to English? I am Dutch but I have never used image processing software in Dutch so everything seems very unnatural to me.
  29. You can start darktable with
    $ LANG=C darktable
and it should pop up in English. We do not have a language switcher yet, there have been first attempts but it turned out to be problematic and we removed it again.
  30. What then no Russian language...
  31. Hello,
during my work with images I need write comments or tasks for all one image. Is there something as 'TODOs' or any posibilities how to write these comments for image?
  32. For this release the Russian translation has been removed due to its completion status.

Is there a forum for new user questions, etc?
    If not...
I'm seeing weird results when setting the input color profile.
If I set the input profile to one I'm using in ufraw for my oly omd-em5,
    I get a radical shift to red/magenta.
I've activated the "unbreak input profile" module to set the gamma and linearity, but it still shifts way too far red/magenta.
I have a sneaking suspicion I'm missing something?
  34. Unfortunately no.
I hope one day cause I got a X-E1 and Darktable is an excellent software.

  35. French speaking people can ask on the Photolinux forum here: http://photolinux.freeforums.org/darktable-f33.html and we try our best to answer.
  36. Generally speaking camera input profiles shouldn't be considered interoperable between different RAW converters (generally speaking).

Darktable's default output for the OMD-EM5 should be quite good out of the box, with little need for external profiles.
  37. Any plans of supporting Fujifilm x100s raws?
  38. We have no plans of supporting any camera with an X-Trans sensor.

  39. Hi, I heard that photos contains information which auto focus points were used to take the picture.

Any plans to implement a function which allow to see on a picture which auto focus points were used in darktable?

This functionality would help to learn how to avoid next time unsharp pictures?

In the meantime, are there any available tools which shows which auto focus point were/was used?

    Thank you in advance,

    Mic
