Thanks for anticipating my needs in such a timely manner - most appreciated. :-)
Thank you very much guys !
After update to 2.0.6 error message: failed to read camera information white balance dsc_1988.NEF.
My camera Nikon D3000.
I can develop only jpgs.
What can i do?
I don't like saying it, but I ran into some issues withe the HDR module in combination with my EOS 6D. Overexposed areas, just like the sun or streetlights, change color to purple. This only affects the 6Ds HDR/DNG files, other cameras, just like my old trusty 5D :), are working perfectly fine - no color changing while using HDR. One picture editnig without the need of HDR works without any problem.
I tried Darktable on several PCs (all running Linux Mint), created HDRs out of 2,3,5 and 7 files and finally attempted to recover colors with some modules but nothing of this really helped.
I need some helping hands to find a solution :)
Thanks
It would be nice to have the "original" Nikon profiles, too. Can I contribute in any way with raw pics in different modes?

If this is due to the Most Common OpenCL Initialization Pitfall of not knowing about the device type being a bitfield (which means it can be a combination of types) and that one of the devices should (or at least might) have the device flag set, then I'd not blame pocl here so loudly.
When can we expect?
Tried the tar.gz files, but really do not know what to do with these.
I am tech saavy, but not with using OS X Terminalor Terminal commands.
When can we expect a OS X .dmg file version, instead?
Thank you for the great work.
Again, thanks for the great tool.
same problem with my D600 :'(
Is there a fix for this problem ?
Is it possible to remove 2.0.6 and install 2.0.5 ?
thank you =)
Tethering in El Captian on my MacBook Air seems not working.
I couldn't find my device connected through USB when scanned.
" No camera for tethering " is the message I got.
Kudos on OpenCL support for mac OS too.!
Everything else runs smooth and comparatively it's faster as well.
Thank you once again and Good Luck Team :)
with new version 2.0.6, it don't work with file raw: failed to read camera white balance information!
I have nikon d3200
:(
But how do you get it to work if Libgphoto does not support the 80d yet?
I cannot shoot tethered with my 80d as I get a warning box pop up saying:
Unable to mount Canon Digital Camera
Error initializing camera: -6: Not Supported.
Ok, so how do you get a Canon 80d to shoot tethered to Darktable?
Using the latest versions of everything.
Mint 17 and 18.

This problem is pointed in the children topics.
But I don't know how to git the new code to my local machine. :(
Anyone?
This darktable version (2.0.6) does not recognize the lens "AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED VR II". So when I open an image, lens correction module displays the following message:
camera/lens not found... please select manually
try to locate your camera/lens in the above two menus
but only recognizes the version "AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G DX ED"

I've never tried Darktable before v2.0.6 so can't say if it worked before.
I was especially happy to find that RAW files from my Fujifilm X-E2 now open without a hitch! Also excited to see you've already added support for my next planned camera upgrade: the X-T2.
I would like import the photos from my iphone. :-).
But i can't.
I'm sure, it'snot the first time you've this question.
Could you give me a link to the answer?
Please
thank' you
I am fed up with the continuous bloating & slowing of new versions of osx.
I have used a live distro of mint on my macbook air and it flies!
Thank you for your patience and any assistance
